OUR COMPANY
Qualified Pension Services, Inc. (QPS) was established in 1996. We take pride in the fact that our consultants are experienced, knowledgeable professionals in the field of Pension Plan Design and Administration and can assist a wide range of businesses with their plan consulting needs. Our administrators average 15 years of experience in this field -- more than most TPA firms.

QPS’ primary range of plan sponsors are small businesses with 500 or fewer plan participants. The great majority of our plans have less than 50 participants. Offered services include plan design, plan administration, government and regulatory compliance, benefit projection, and plan terminations.

Confidentiality, high quality and expediency are very important at QPS, as they are to our clients. That is why much of our business comes from client and advisor referrals.

QPS is owned by JOHN STOLTZ and LEM MOORMAN, who both bring a wealth of experience to clients and their advisors.

After receiving his B.S. Degree in Accounting, with a minor in Management, John served as a Revenue Agent with the IRS in Denver for three years.  In this position he handled the examination of income tax returns for high income individuals, partnerships and corporations.  He also reviewed and approved retirement plans adopted by corporations, partnerships, and sole-proprietorships.  Today, John is still enrolled to practice before the IRS.  Prior to starting QPS, John worked for many years designing, implementing and administering qualified plans for numerous small businesses in the Denver Metro area.

Lem received his M.B.A. from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where his study emphasis was in accounting and finance.  Since receiving his C.P.A. from the State of Colorado in 1978, Lem has worked in public accounting with both national and local firms, and for 14 years served as a Corporate Controller in the Distribution, Management Services and Finance industries.

QPS' highly qualified PLAN ADMINISTRATORS have an average of 15 years experience each.  Every client is assigned to a specific plan administrator whom they can contact at any time with questions or concerns.

Our CLIENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT is available to make the Proposal and Plan Installation process go smoothly, and our dedicated DISTRIBUTION DEPARTMENT has one of the fastest turnaround times in the industry.

We also have an IT MANAGER on staff, who makes sure we stay on the cutting-edge of technology in order to provide the best service for our clients and their advisors.
